The Walking Dead
AMC incredible show - What a great shoot to be involved in
I was shooting the publicity images for Season 8 - the show is filmed on a huge sprawling film lot in Atlanta, US - its very hot and humid down there and we were shooting mid-summer...
I spent the previous week in NYC catching up on the show, research, and was in season 7 when I saw the gruesome scene with Negan and Lucille (baseball bat).
You know the scene - if you dont then do not watch that scene!
I dont mind hard work - and we worked hard on this production, we had to -
We had one day to shoot the entire main cast in their roles, around the film lot.
We had 2 assisting crews on the shoot - 1 team with me one team ready on set 2, when set 1 was shot crew 2 would break it down and set up set 3, when we got to set 3 crew 2 would break down set 2 and set up set 4 and so on
It was a well oiled machine and we shot something like
30 scenes in one brilliant long day in sunny Atlanta
